We are thrilled to announce that voting for the CAHR Africa Awards 2024 has officially ended. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took the time to vote and support the extraordinary individuals and organisations driving positive change across Africa.
The Community and Human Rights (CAHR) Awards Africa, established in 2019 by CSR-in-Action Advocacy in collaboration with Ford Foundation and Zenera Consulting, is dedicated to honouring those who have made significant contributions to national development, social justice, and community engagement. This prestigious platform recognises human rights champions who work tirelessly to promote equality, protect fundamental rights, and foster sustainable development across the continent.
For the 2024 CAHR Africa Awards, over 425 individuals were nominated across various categories, each guided by key eligibility criteria that required demonstrable and significant impact in areas of community development, corporate accountability, and human rights. After a rigorous screening process, 24 outstanding nominees were shortlisted for the final voting process.
Now that the voting has concluded, we eagerly anticipate celebrating the remarkable achievements of our nominees. These awards would not be possible without the collective support and engagement from communities and stakeholders like you.
