Announcing Our New Look!

Big news! We are releasing an updated brand identity, which includes a new logo, colors, and font. You’ll see the new look anywhere we’re out in public, like our website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube and Instagram. We believe the new look better matches our vision since 2010: to propel collective transformative action in Africa by promoting responsibility amongst all entities in their day-to-day individual or business activities.

Our business has grown and evolved over the years and we felt it was time for a change. We have refreshed our logo to reflect who we are today and to symbolize our dynamic future.

The colours we have chosen represent our dynamic approach to sustainable development in Africa.

The new identity satisfies all the existing expectations of what our business model, while simultaneously moving our brand forward to achieve maturity, functionality, and diversity.

CSR-in-Action is a conglomerate of three sustainability-focussed business: CSR-in-Action Consulting, The College of Sustainable Citizenship and Corporate Social Responsibility Awareness & Advancement Initiative (CSR-in-Action Advocacy).

Our Initiatives

The Sustainability in the Extractive Industries (SITEI) Conference was launched in 2012 with the Deputy High Commission of Canada, to facilitate the much-needed transparency and accountability within the traditionally opaque extractive sector. In keeping with its mandate, the conference moved from Lagos to Abuja in 2015, to tap into growing government interest in the diversification of the economy through the sector.

The Corporate Sustainable Investor Report formerly known as Collective Social Investment Report (CSIR), is country’s first ever widely disseminated and inclusive compendium of companies’ sustainability performance. The important feature of the CSIR is the CSR-in-Action Corporate Citizenship Index (3c-Index) which is a ranking of business sustainability performance. Some leading organisations have emerged as well as definite sustainability trends.

The Good Citizen initiative was launched at the 4th Sustainability in the Extractive Industries (SITEI) Conference by Ms Yemisi Ransome-Kuti, Founder, NNNGO and Bekeme Masade-Olowola, Chief Executive, CSR-in-Action, along with delegates at the conference.

The initiative, which had commenced early 2015 on social media (Twitter: @GoodCitizenNg, Facebook: @goodcitizenng), is a nation-wide movement to promote unity by encouraging morals and respect for culture, anti-corruption and self-accountability through awareness generation.

We hope you like this new look and feel for CSR-in-Action! Look out for more updates—like our brand-new website—as we continue to try to better serve businesses across Africa with bespoke sustainability strategies.
