UPDC Plc started its journey in 1997 and carved out of UAC Nigeria Plc’s property division. As a result of extensive trading activities of UAC PLC, across Nigeria, UAC acquired a large number of produce warehouses, offices and residential structures, which in turn led to the company’s control of a significant amount of real estate all over Nigeria. These acquisitions were managed by a department of UAC which became a subsidiary company, UACN Property Development Company in 1997.

The company’s vision is to become the leading real estate & facility management company in Nigeria by delivering world-class properties and services tailored to the needs of the Nigerian market, whilst providing sustainable value to all our stakeholders and shareholders. The company’s mission is to build and manage distinctive lifestyle developments delivered to time, cost and quality. UPDC through its housing and facilities services contributes to the achievement of social and economic progress required to achieve the sustainable development agenda of the UN SDGs.
