They provide document and parcel shipping services, air, ocean, road, and raid freight, warehouse solutions, transportation management, and contract logistics. The company connects people and companies from all corners of the world, facilitating global trade with speed and efficiency.
Globally, the logistics company has over 400,000 employees and offices in over 220 countries and territories while in Nigeria, they have a staff strength of over 410 people.
SUSTAINABILITY
DHL is well known for their sustainability efforts with a mission to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 (“Mission 2050”). So far, the organisation has managed to cut down on emission with the introduction of electric vehicles in their fleet as well as their use of sustainable aviation fuels.
DHL Nigeria carries out its corporate social responsibility efforts via three pillars dubbed Go Green, Go Help and Go Teach.
