Chams PLC is a leading provider of Innovative and Intelligent Identity Business Solutions in Nigeria with over 34 years of experience in providing cutting edge identity technology solutions. They were incorporated as a limited liability company on 10 September 1985 and became a public Company on 4 September 2008.

Over the last 3 decades, Chams has evolved from computer and hardware maintenance to providing enterprise technology solutions in the identity management and transaction payments space to public and private sector institutions. The company has three subsidiaries; CardCentre Nigeria Limited, engaged in the production and manufacturing of Cards – Identity, payments, Smart cards et al; ChamsAcccess Limited, liceNGXd consortium for the deployment of ATMs in the country also involved in the deployment of multi-application terminals; and ChamsSwitch Limited, engaged in the provision of the e-payment transaction processing platform for the Nigerian Market. Chams PLC is also the front-end partner to the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), the agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) responsible for the creation of a new, standardised and robust National Identity Management scheme.

Chams pioneered Nigeria’s first payment card scheme, Valucard, with VISA, and is liceNGXd by the central bank of Nigeria to provide other services. They have the vision to be the leading provider of innovative digital solutions that improve the quality of life. In 2019, Chams Plc made a total revenue of 3.2 billion nairas.
