Beta Glass is a notable contributor to recycling efforts in Nigeria and a significant user of recycled glass containers in its manufacturing process. While consistent availability of quality recycled glass and in larger quantities is a challenge, Beta Glass has the technology and ability to scale up for higher levels of utilization of recycled glass. Using recycled glass in the manufacturing process reduces energy costs and impacts the operating life and efficiency of the glass furnaces.
