The situation<\/span><\/h3>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]A large multinational convened a meeting inviting women in the manufacturing sector. Following that meeting, the company and other senior women attendees decided there was a need to organise the women into a collective to drive women representation in the industry.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]

What we did<\/span><\/h3>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]CSR-in-Action was brought in to manage and implement the project for a period of 6 months to kick off strongly and incubate the process. Our activities included association registration, design of strategy, project management, event management, branding (including design of logo) and engagement of partners.<\/p>\n

We set up a Steering Committee, developed the concept and governance structure, co-organised the launch, including the invitation of members.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]

Outcome<\/span><\/h3>[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]The organisation was successfully launched in December 2017 and is currently running under the partnership of the initial instigating organisation and two other corporate organisations.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row rc_bg_type=”color” rc_bg_color=”#f2f2f2″][vc_column width=”1\/6″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_row_inner columns_gap=”60″][vc_column_inner content_width=”custom” custom_content_width=”670″]
